Suction couch roll is a device in the paper machine mesh section, mainly used for pulp dehydration. It uses vacuum suction to extract water from the pulp to ensure that the wet paper has appropriate dryness before entering the press section. The suction couch roll is generally located in the paper machine mesh section, close to the bottom of the mesh. It absorbs water through the internal vacuum system and assists dehydration through mechanical pressure.
During the operation of the paper machine, the pulp enters the mesh section and is initially formed under the action of gravity and the couch roll. At this time, the suction couch roll absorbs the water in the pulp through the small holes on the surface. The water enters the suction couch roll and is discharged through the vacuum system. When the paper web passes through the suction couch roll, the suction couch roll not only removes most of the water, but also compacts the paper web to a certain extent, which helps to form a more uniform paper structure.
(1) High efficiency of vacuum suction dehydration.
(2) Convenient operation and paper feeding.
(3) Good tension can be maintained during the drying process to promote uniform evaporation of water.
