The cleanliness of the dryer fabric is an important factor in productivity and is often seen as an influencing factor in reducing downtime, saving energy in the dryer section and improving paper and board quality. With the widespread use of synthetic materials in the paper industry, more and more manufacturers are using dryer fabrics made of synthetic materials in the drying section of their paper machines. However, dryer fabrics can easily become dirty during use, and sometimes impurities fill the full monofilament or monofilament/duplex dryer fabrics, which reduces drying efficiency and paper quality, so they must be cleaned regularly.
Impurities on the dry fabric can be divided into four main basic types:
A.Paper scraps
Usually consisting of short fibers and fine materials.
B.Resin and tar
Resins in the first use pulp, tar, pitch and latex in the waste paper pulp.
C.Water-soluble gum
Water-soluble gums specific to senior paper.
D.Alkaline solvents or heat-set coatings
Alkaline solvents or heat-set coatings for coated paper.
A. Manual hand-held high-pressure spray gun cleaning
Manual handheld high-pressure gun cleaning rolls with poor cleaning effect, manual labor intensity, poor cleaning continuity and other disadvantages, but the use of low cost, easy to operate, is now widely used in the paper mill.
B.Cleaning with cleaning bracket
This method allows continuous or intermittent cleaning operations during the production process, without any dead space throughout the cleaning process, with stable and reliable cleaning efficiency and quality, and allows the dryer fabric to maintain the desired air permeability performance required. As a result, the dryer fabric has a longer service life and maintenance intervals, resulting in cost savings.
