1. Before installing the screen basket, ensure that the ripple of the screen basket in the inner rotor external flow and outer rotor internal flow is the same as the direction of rotor rotation, while the inner rotor internal flow and outer rotor external flow are opposite. At the same time, ensure that all dimensions comply with the drawing dimensions and tolerance markings.
2. Handle with care during installation to avoid external damage to the screen basket;
3. After installing the screen basket into the pressure screen, the gap between the screen basket and the rotor should be adjusted appropriately. After adjusting to the process requirements, fix it firmly with fixing bolts. During this process, it is necessary to check if there are any leakage points at the connection between the screen basket and the pressure screen body. Generally speaking, it is required that the leakage point is not greater than the selected screen gap size.
4. When using a pressure screen, the pressure should be between 0.15-0.30MPa. If it is too small, it will affect the slurry output and cause damage to the screen basket. The inlet and outlet of the slurry should also maintain a suitable and stable slurry pressure. Generally speaking, a pressure difference of 0.03~0.05 MPa is recommended;
5. Generally speaking, the amount of tailings should be 5-15%. Of course, it is also possible to increase or decrease according to the slurry type, but the tailings should be discharged smoothly during use;
6. Before the slurry enters the pressure screen, heavy impurities such as sand, stones, and iron must be removed from the material that may cause damage to the screen basket. It is best to use a bar screen as a fine screen, as a coarse screen will be more useful after removing large light impurities;
7. After each use of the pressure screen, be sure to clean the drum with clean water for future use;
8. When the pulp output of the screen basket cannot meet the requirements under the same conditions, check the gap and ripple, and replace it if it cannot meet the requirements.
