The Function of Doctor Blade
Paper machine doctor blade is used to remove contaminant, water, broken paper, and pulp fibers from the surface of the roller to prevent these substances from accumulating and damaging the fabric and felts or affecting the quality of the paper.
Doctor Blade Apply for Different Use Position
Apply for forming section:They are used for breast roller, couch roller, wire drive guide roller to ensure the cleanliness of the white water system and prevent fiber blockage.
Appliy for Press Section :They are used for top press roll and felt guide roll, removing broken paper, and protecting the press felt.
Apply for Dryer Section: They are install at the psotion of dryer cylinder, keep dryer cleaning and increase heat transfer efficiency.
Material of Doctor Blade
The doctor blade have many different material, metal material such as steel, bronze, stainless steel and composition material such as HDPE, glass fiber, expoy resin, carbon fiber material.
Epoxy Resin / Glass Fiber Material
The EP doctor blade is combined with epoxy resin and superfine glass fiber. This material have good chemical stability and wear resistence , temperature resistence is 185℃. This material is suitable for various rolls from wire section to reel. Different model are suitable different use position, we will according to your use position and use temperature to suggest suitable material for you.
