It is used to support the pulp to filter out moisture and make the pulp fibers form a uniform paper sheet structure. The correct use of the forming fabric can directly affect the paper quality and production efficiency. Therefore, the correct installation and maintenance of the forming fabric is crucial for the paper mill.

The installation of the forming fabric must be accurate and meticulous. There are several key steps to install the forming fabric:

(1) Make sure the paper machine is in the shutdown state, clean the forming parts and check the state of the mesh slot and guide roller to prevent the mesh from being damaged during installation.

(2) Slowly and evenly place the forming fabric into the paper machine mesh slot to ensure that the forming fabric is not twisted or folded. Align the edges of the forming fabric so that it is placed flat on the forming area.

(3) By adjusting the tension system, gradually increase the tension of the forming fabric to the appropriate range. Too high or too low tension will affect the quality of paper sheet formation and the service life of the forming fabric.

(4) Before starting the paper machine, make sure that the forming fabric is installed in the correct position and the guide rail runs smoothly. Finally, test the running to check whether the forming fabric runs stably and evenly.

This phenomenon is caused by uneven tension of the forming fabric, wear of the mesh surface, and uneven surface of the guide roller. We need to ensure that the surface of the guide roller is smooth and intact, improve the uniform distribution of the pulp,

There are too many impurities in the pulp, and the fibers are too long to be fully dispersed. The cleanliness and quality of the pulp can be improved and the forming fabric should be cleaned regularly, and vector chemicals should be used to remove impurities.

3. Wear of the forming fabric due to long-term use or external force

Excessive tension of the forming fabric, improper operation, uneven surface of the guide roller or foreign matter, and external force factors may cause mesh wear. It is necessary to correctly adjust the mesh tension to ensure that the forming fabric is installed correctly; regularly check and maintain the surface of the guide roller; use appropriate lubricants to reduce wear.

4. The forming fabric cannot operate, and the edge of the mesh is curled or worn.

This phenomenon may be caused by uneven mesh tension, the forming fabric is not installed at the edge, etc. It is necessary to check and adjust the tension of the forming fabric. Ensure that the edges of the forming fabric are aligned during installation; avoid applying unnecessary pressure during operation.

5. The forming fabric deviates during operation (deviation)

The forming fabric deviates during operation, causing uneven paper sheet forming. The leading factors may be uneven tension, unbalanced guide rollers, or worn bearings, which can cause deviation. This situation needs to be handled in two ways: 1. Slight deviation: First check whether the corrector is still working. During the adjustment process, always pay attention to the operating status of the spare parts. If it is not handled well in a short time, the machine should be stopped for processing. 2. Severe deviation: Press the emergency stop button immediately, and check whether the guide roller screws and guide rollers are loose, detached or damaged.
