The low vacuum suction box is an important equipment in the forming fabric of the paper machine. It acts on the early position of the wire and is mainly used for the dewatering process of pulp in the initial forming stage. The low vacuum suction box will use a lower vacuum degree to extract moisture from the pulp to ensure the uniformity and initial shaping of the paper fibers.
The low vacuum suction box acts on the pulp on the forming fabric through a lower vacuum pressure, so that it can be further dewatering under gravity and wire pressure. This step will remove excess water without destroying the pulp fibers. The dehydration process is relatively gentle.
The low vacuum suction box can also help the fibers to gradually arrange and dehydrate by maintaining a stable flow of the pulp, and improve the compactness of the paper structure to facilitate subsequent high vacuum dewatering. In addition, when the pulp is first laid on the forming fabric, the fibers are not completely fixed. If they are not dehydrated in time, the fibers will move with the water flow, resulting in uneven fiber distribution. The low vacuum suction box avoids this situation through moderate dewateringand ensures the uniformity of the paper.
(1) Gentle dewatering will not damage the fiber structure.
(2) Extend the life of the forming fabric and improve the uniformity of the paper.
(3) Low friction coefficient.
(4) Stable structure and easy to replace.
