The wire drive roll is a device responsible for driving the forming fabric in the paper making machine. It drives the forming fabric to ensure that the pulp is evenly distributed and gradually dehydrated and formed into a wet paper web. It is usually installed at the end of the wire or driven by the forming wire.
When the wire drive roll drives the forming wire to run at a constant speed, the pulp can be evenly distributed on the forming fabric and gradually dehydrated and formed during the operation of the forming fabric. The stability of the wire speed is also very important in this process. A stable speed can avoid uneven paper web and breakage.
The wire drive roll is made of high-strength materials such as stainless steel and alloy steel. It can withstand long-term operation and has sufficient wear resistance and strength to cope with the tension and long-term mechanical friction of the forming wire.
