Press Felt

Single Layer Press Felt

 It consists of a single bottom mesh layer and a fiber layer, and has a relatively simple structure.
It has good water filtration performance and small elongation.
 The felt has light marks and is easy to clean.
 It effectively reduces groove marks.
 It is widely used in various papermaking machines to produce various types of paper.

Double Layer  Press Felt

 The structure is a 1+1 composite structure.
Stable size and good elasticity.
Applicable to groove pressing, vacuum pressing, etc., which can effectively eliminate groove marks and vacuum marks.
Applicable to paper machines such as fourdrinier, stacked, and multi-circular nets to produce high grade cultural paper, new net paper, etc.

Triple Layer Press Felt

 The triple layer press felt can be divided into 1+1+1, 1+2 and 2+1 composite structures.
The surface of the press felt is flat and smooth.
It can adapt to high strength line pressure.
It is suitable for high speed paper machines to produce high grade new mesh paper, cultural paper, cardboard and other paper types.
Production Process
  • Wrapping paper press felt:  Applicable to the paper machine press felts with speed of 300-600m/min, vacuum suction transfer, vacuum pre-pressing + two-pass large roller blind hole press, vacuum paper pre-pressing + two-pass large roller press. Paper types that can be produced: 70-120gsm corrugated, 140-180gsm kraft paper, and noodle boxboard.
  • Culture paper press felt: Applicable to speed: 300-600m/min Composite pressing: four roller two press, four roller three press, five roller three press, K press type press felt, suitable for 50-100g various cultural papers.
  • High speed household paper press felt: Suitable for vacuum rotary screen, crescent type and other high speed paper machines, producing 10g/㎡ to 45g/㎡ household paper.
  • Specialty paper press felt: Applicable to special paper machines with speeds of ≥200m/min, capable of producing various types of special paper.
  • Pulp board press felt: Suitable for felts in two-pass large roller presses with a speed of 80-120m/min, and suitable for the production of paper grades: 350-1200g.
  • Machine-made cement tile press felt: It is suitable for the production of large, medium and small corrugation cement tile, calcium silicate board by hatscheck process or pulp fluid method. Felt for clamping machine is applied for production line where clamping plants available.
  • Flocked dryer screen: It is divided into medium ring, small ring, with end and without end. It is suitable for the drying section of various paper machines; it is used as MG felt and dryer felt for cultural paper, special paper, high end cardboard and other paper machines.
 
Process Flow

Differences between seamed press felt and endless felts

The biggest difference between seamed press felt and ordinary press felts is installation and disassembly. Seamed press felts are specially designed with seam structures. Ordinary press felts require complex installation and disassembly by humans, which takes a lot of time and manpower. Seamed press felts can be directly put on the paper machine and connected using a special seam structure, which not only ensures the safety of the production process but also greatly reduces the replacement time so that the paper machine can be put into production quickly.
