Suggestions on deviation adjustment and shifting of dryer fabric

The following are our suggestions on the deviation adjustment and shifting of the dryer fabric.

1. The alignment of rollers and dryer cylinders of each group in the drying section is very important. If the alignment is not good, the dryer fabric is easily deformed and there will be frequent movement. If one roller is not parallel, another roller is required to offset it, which is usually adjusted by the tension roller. This situation will make it difficult to adjust the deviation when starting or breaking the paper, and may lead to the deviation of the dryer fabric. Therefore, the alignment of rollers should be checked regularly.

2. If the shifting frequency of the fabric is faster than the reaction time of the deviation adjustment system, it is usually caused by improper installation of the main dryer fabric. If the dryer fabric is installed when the temperature of the dryer cylinder is still very high, the part of the dryer fabric contacting the dryer cylinder will shrink locally, the fabric surface will be uneven, and there will be problems when starting the machine. Therefore, the temperature at which the dryer cylinder can be installed with the dryer fabric is 60 degrees Celsius or less. The procedure for starting the machine after the new dryer fabric is installed should be to crawl the dryer fabric with a small tension. When the dryer fabric runs parallel, gradually increase the tension. Only when the temperature of the dryer cylinder reaches the application temperature can the paper machine be opened to the maximum speed.

3. In order to achieve good adjustment effect of dryer fabric, the tension of dryer fabric shall be large enough. We suggest that the dryer fabric tension is 3kn / m or slightly higher than 3kn / m

4. When the baffle is set, the middle of the baffle is usually in line contact with the dryer fabric. Make sure the baffle can move in full range. The deflection adjusting roller shall be able to move in the full range and return to the midpoint position.

5. Regularly check the air bag or air cylinder, air pipe and filter equipment of the deviation adjustment system to ensure cleanness, so as to avoid the movement range of the deviation adjustment roller being reduced due to insufficient air pressure caused by pollution.
