The suction couch roll is generally located in the paper machine mesh section, close to the bottom of the mesh. During the operation of the paper machine, the pulp enters the mesh section and is initially formed under the action of gravity and the couch roll. At this time, the suction couch roll absorbs the water in the pulp through the small holes on the surface. The water enters the suction couch roll and is discharged through the vacuum system.
