The 2.5 layer forming fabric is a high performance forming fabric. Compared with 1.5 and single layer forming fabric, the 2.5 layer forming fabric provides higher uniformity, wear resistance and water filtration performance, and is often used in high speed paper machines. The design of Sun Hong's 2.5 layer forming fabric takes into account higher fiber retention without affecting water filtration. By adding transverse weaving wires on the top of the forming fabric and reducing the distance between the top wires, it can provide better support for fine fibers.
