The open type headbox is a traditional pulping equipment, in which the pulp flows from the high level box into the headbox through an opening, and the pulp is evenly transported to the forming net by gravity and liquid level difference pressure.
The open type headbox has a relatively simple structure and low cost, but its performance is not inferior at all. It can realize the basic pulp distribution and flow function, meet the needs of general paper production, and is suitable for the production of various types of paper (toilet paper, packaging paper, etc.). It is also very adaptable to pulp and can be used to process pulp of different concentrations and properties.
