The screen basket is the core component installed on the pressure screen. After the slurry enters the pressure screen, under the action of centrifugal force or pressure, the slurry flows along the inner wall of the screen drum. Qualified fibers pass through the screen holes of the screen basket and enter the next process. Impurities and longer fibers will be blocked and discharged, ensuring that the quality of the slurry meets production requirements.
Screen basket can be divided into two types: hole screens and slot screens, which are suitable for different screening requirements and pulp characteristics. Reasonable selection can greatly increase production efficiency and optimize pulp quality.
Drilled Slotted
(1) Accurate screening, the screen drilled are designed in round or elliptical design, suitable for high precision separation of impurities in pulp.
(2) Wide range of applications, suitable for screening of chemical pulp, mechanical pulp, and waste paper pulp, and performs well in the treatment of medium and high concentration pulp.
